Welcome to our blog! We hope you find this is a great place to see what is amusing and inspiring us day to day. More than anything it is a lazy person's scrapbook and sort of gratuity journal for our family to flip back and enjoy our many blessings. Also a great way to waste time at work. Enjoy! We love to read your comments!
This Christmas will be particularly special for us with our newest addition. He is at such a great age right now - starting to really respond to toys and colors very enthusiastically. These are pictures from our early celebration at home early before departing to Kentucky. Uncles Richard and Dwayne got Gus a "Johnny Jumper" or "Jumparoo". He should have a ball in this! Pictures to come for sure!
Gus had more of a reaction to his first pair of shoes than we had anticipated. He promptly plucked them out of our hands and examined them very closely. Must be the contrasting colors.

Like most parents when we saw our son "jam" on the xylophone we felt certain he was a musical genius. I think he really liked beating something with a stick.
Here we go! ONE....
TWO....
Gus is thankful to have Mimi and Poppy so close to the NC mountains. It is 4 hours for each of us so it makes a very doable vacation with a baby. Here we are on a trail on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Gus showing off that he has learned to love his carrier.
If I had seen he was flaring his nostrils I'd have known he was going to the bathroom.
