Lets Get Messy
Being at home with the kiddos has allowed me to get my hands into all kinds of crafts. Kind of fun for a girl in her 30's to have an excuse to buy the large package of Sharpie markers and maybe some colored pipecleaners......uh, for the kids.
Gus and I made "tie dye" shirts for him and a onesie for Drew by dropping alcohol drops onto circles made with sharpie markers. They come in such lovely colors now. Sigh.
This was before he decided that he should color himself and become a new kind of superhero. Luckily I was able to intercept the permanent markers and replace them with the washable kind! Have to post a pic soon of the two of them modeling their tee's.
Superheros
Cody is Gus bud from the old 'hood. He came to play superheroes this weekend.
Yes, these 3 year olds are particularly buff. They work out.
HAHAHA!

Backyard Fun
A combination sword/viking/Star Wars/rifle war with neighbor. There are 7 boys here from 3 to 11 and they all play together. Its awesome. At any time there could be around 4 minimum in our backyard. They are so great with Gus even though he is one of the youngest.
Works great when they are busy in our yard, allowing Aaron and I to finish a conversation and plant up some beauties. Cute mason jar full of fragrant dianthus.

Egg Hunt
We took Gus and Drew to our neighborhood Easter egg hunt the Saturday before the big day. What a gorgeous weekend for such a great holiday! Here is Drew posing for her first Easter egg hunt.
The grownups (and Gus)were disappointed in the fact that there was NO CANDY in the eggs! What?? Only stickers and worthless tchotkes that did not thrill any kid. What happened to the days of jelly beans and chocolate footballs in foil? Sigh. Nothing is fun anymore.
