Holiday Hangover

The dogs have been so good with Gus this year (which means ignoring him or occasionally trying to sneak a kiss) so we gave them their Christmas present early. When Fitzi finally felt like she had officially killed and disembowled hers she was able to sleep peacefully. See JoJo passed out in his bed behind her.

Giving Thanks

Gus is thankful to have Mimi and Poppy so close to the NC mountains. It is 4 hours for each of us so it makes a very doable vacation with a baby. Here we are on a trail on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Gus' first craft! Okay, he did little but pose for the picture but it was an important part of the design, right? This is actually a patch for the daycare's holiday quilt they put together. This project made me realize that things like glue and glitter are going to be part of our life for many, many years. So funny to think about. He does make a delightful elf though.
